Nancy J. Mitchell

 In March of this year our friend Nancy Mitchell was diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma.  It is a very serious but treatable cancer of the lymphatic system.  Nancy is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment, which must continue until the battle is won.  During this time, her oncologist has advised her against working.

Like many Americans, Nancy is not covered by health insurance, so it is a time of great crisis.  Nancy's best friend Donna has rallied the troops for a benefit event on Sunday June 21st @ Smith's Olde Bar in Atlanta to help with mounting medical and living expenses.

The event, hosted by Bob Bailey, will feature live music by many of Nancy's musician friends, including Atlanta’s own fraternity of Rock ‘n Roll: The Georgia Satellites, The Producers, The Swinging Richards, Riggs, and many more.

During her 30 years as a veteran of the music industry, Nancy has amassed an enormous collection of rock memorabilia.  A silent auction of her hand picked items, along with others donated by her industry friends promises to bring back many memories and raise much needed funds.
